Well it took some time and effort for me to prise open the cover of this particular book. I had to soak the hinges overnight in ‘3in1’ and still ended up jumping up and down on the jemmy before the cover would budge. Was it really that long ago since I last updated the blog? Hell yeah…!
So.. personal life aside what about poker and more specifically my poker exploits? As I mentioned in a comment on SvcMgr’s latest blog entry, I have been mostly if not totally poker inactive for the year so far. Read more

Hey folks.. Apologies for the tumble-weed strewn halls of my blog..
It has been a torrid couple of months, what with my lifestyle being turned upside down by my recent diagnosis of diabetes, the non arrival of summer, the building of the new website and several other things getting in the way. I simply have not had much time or inclination left in me at the end of the day to sit here and bash away at the keyboard.
Poker has been on the back burner for the last 10 weeks or so, I might have played 5-6 games in this period.
Much of my online time has been taken up with building my new website. Actually much of the last 8 weeks has been wasted because of the way my hosting providers configured their servers, after weeks of reconfiguring code and stuff I finally came to the conclusion it would be a lot easier to re-host my site with a provider that was more flexible…. Well, ……truth be told I wasn’t “Fully Wide Awake” when the game kicked off in the league game this evening. It was Omaha H-Lo again and I just didn’t fancy playing it. Probably the first game I have not entered when sitting at the computer all ‘poker-ready’ so to speak.
I ain’t played much Omaha before, in fact I only started a couple of weeks ago, when there were no other games around and I just click-joined a league game. Then promptly sailed through to the final table, in complete ignorance of how I ever got there. Pestering the guys in the chat room all the time with, “is this a good hand?”, “what’s a good hand?” or a “how come I won that?” etc…

Welcome to Blaggers’ online poker diary.
I play online poker regularly (almost daily) in a smallish, select private poker league. Hopefully I will not upset any of the people in the league with my ramblings and I apologise in advance if any do take offence.
Hopefully the regular members know me well enough by now, to realise that I am sincere when I say I really enjoy the camraderie and banter we all share when in a game or in thePaltalk© chat room and that no offence is ever intended.
