I thought that went without saying but I am glad you mentioned it. For those that don’t know us, personally, it would never cross my mind to do that. What good would it do? I am in the game to learn, get better, and win on my own.
I also agree about making my own decision on how the play my hand.
The benefit I get is getting a diffferent perspective on how or what other people are playing with. This helps me in reading the table, other players, etc.
Anyway, it is fun and I get to learn too.

To be honest Dave, I didn’t think I would benifit so much. Just hearing others advise while playing your hands is great. It gives some reassurance that you are doing the right things. OK, at the end of the day its your own choice as you will have a knowledge of how the other players at the table are playing, therefore might not take all the advice going, but 99% of the time the advice is correct and definately works.

By the way, for those reading this, we are not colluding with each other. If we are at the same table and in a hand we DO NOT talk about it. We pride ourselves in trying to win without cheating. Just thought I’d make that clear!

Gofer, I like playing with blagger, lippy, and pinkdog too. It is a great learning experience being able to talk real time about the hands, players, etc.
I wonder if it would be worth it to schedule this kind of thing?
I know I benefit from it.

Agreed Blags! the forum has livened up again. Just goes to show – a little controversy hurt no-one.
As for the MTTs, I’ll have to play in them with you again. One session, including the ‘late shift’ with Lippy, Jock and Pinky in tow, seemed to click my brain into gear for the next day. First off, I waltzed my way through a $5 omaha hi/lo s&g then went on to win a league freeroll. I still say it was going live with you guys, talking through our hands that got my noggin to actually start working.

I’ll catch up with you soon mate. That HAS to be done again!
