Lately I’ve been doing great playing the poker with 2 second places in the forum-tournies, profits in both! I’ve limited my playing to one game per day or every other day!
It feels like my game is coming together more and more, the mojo is back at ground-level! But the tourny i played last week bugs me, I’ve never seen so many back to back to back pocket-pairs in my hand before. I mean rockets, queens, jacks, 10s, 9s and so on, tvice and all first hour! I pushed them all hard preflop because my strategy when the rest at the table where lowstacked was not to give them a chance of outdraw me! Not give them any free cards! If they wanted to see a flop they darn it had to pay dearly for it! I got the bigstack, i played with confidence!
I know i did have the right strategy and it would have worked charmfully but aheeemm! don’t forget when ppl get lowstacked they indeed get desperate and call with crap and they do get lucky! So even if you do get lucky with the holecards you need to have the right timing to use them too! That’s the hard part. When to hold’em and when to fold’em so to speak. And i do need to practise that! Playing pocket pairs against lowstacks are sometimes hard! Especially when they get desperate!
And Talk about a hand wich makes your heart skip a beat! Well skip several beats:

On the personal level then?
Well i went to check my eyes today and i tried on all those namebranded glasses they sell. Never laughed so much in my whole life!
OMG! Please … Dolce Gabana, Donna Karan, Prada and Gucci make some stuff ppl actually can use! Most of them made me look like an old sour hag with unibrow, just the colour that differed. And what’s this with the size on the glasses? I mean 2 inches high and 7-8 inches wide? come on… i don’t have my eyes and vision centered at my ears! It surely do seem like they think soo with the glasses like a brim of a sunhat hanging from your nose and ear! As soon as you happened to pass someone in a narrow place you either ram them or put out someones eyes with your glasses
And what a ripoff when it comes down to the price! I have to pay them 500-600 dollar just for the plasticpiece with the namebrand on in some strange colour that makes me look not nicer but as a unibrow?? And that’s before mounting the actual glass that makes my ability to see better! Uhm? To that cost and with that result with the look i rather prefer to not mount the glasses and have poor vision so i don’t have to see the mess!
To my Nemesis by the way! OK i can admit to it to a certain point there!!!!
