Goph,
Great post!
My opinion is as follows.
When BIG money is involved, there is always going to be an aspect of cheating. The payoff is too big for some not to try to figure out a way to cheat.
Most anyone can cheat in on-line poker. I myself, would not get involved in high dollar action on-line because of that reason.
Playing the $2, $6, $10 and even $20 is about as high as I would go without careful consideration.
Of course, you always want to be able to play a good game on-line where your skill determines the outcome, not some RNG or cheater.
I think it is something we need to be aware of and try to watch for. Hopefully, the sites will start paying more attention as the stakes seem to always get higher. A couple of publically announced cheaters or RNG problems would kill a on-line poker site so doing due dilligence on their part would seem to be in their best interests.
It's something to think about.
